The relationship between architecture and technique is evident as architecture in itself is technical and requires all types of planning from every aspect.
Let’s start with materials:
Materials are a key factor influencing the architectural design process. Materials used in buildings provide adequate support throughout their life.
Each material has different characteristics and processing technology as a functional material. Techniques such as cutting, melting, crushing, cracking, heating, and manipulating. Material behavior is also affected by aging and the action of external forces.
Throughout history, humans have used these materials:
STONE
BRICK
WOOD
STEEL
CONCRETE
GLASS
Second we will see: TECHNOLOGY
The technology architecture connects the application components of architecture with technology components using software and hardware components. Technology architecture provides a more concrete view of how application components are realized and deployed.
Many principles were used throughout human history in order to builds strong and lasting buildings using the technology that was available at the time. Now in the 21st century, computers and machines are essential in the process of designing and building.
Now we will look at STRUCTURE:
Structural stability in construction refers to the strength of a building to withstand sudden changes and forces, its ability to maintain balance under all conditions. Building instability can have catastrophic consequences and requires special consideration during planning.
And lastly we will look at FACILITIES:
Building facilities management is a broad and challenging discipline that ensures the operation of facilities throughout their lifecycle.
Facility management can be defined as a set of tools and services that support functionality, security and sustainability.
